Ragdoll Kitten Harness Training Day 21 Walking on the Leash — ????? – PoathTV Cats

Valentino is a 4 month old seal point Ragdoll kitten with mitts and a blaze. He likes to explore the great outdoors however being a Ragdoll he needs constant supervision. Before we could venture beyond my backyard he needed to learn how to walk wearing a leash & harness. In this film we see the results of 3 weeks of training and just a few trips into the frontyard – he now walks on the lead without going ‘flop’, and is following basic instructions like “sit” and “stop” about 80% of the time. It’s actually quite funny when I meet someone when walking Valentino and I say “stop, sit” and he plonks his little butt straight down on the ground 🙂 You can see more movies of my cats using this playlist: www.youtube.com Valentino & Ella also have a photo album at www.facebook.com Valentino came to me from Ragalon Ragdolls – www.ragalonragdolls.com From en.wikipedia.org ‘The Ragdoll is a cat breed with blue eyes and a distinct colorpoint coat. It is a large and muscular semi-longhair cat with a soft and silky coat. Developed by American breeder Ann Baker, it is best known for its docile and placid temperament and affectionate nature. The name “Ragdoll” is derived from the tendency of individuals from the original breeding stock to go limp and relaxed when picked up. ‘
