Pet sitter or boarding kennel: Who should care for your pet while youre away? – Part 12

I have worked at a veterinary clinic that offers boarding and daycare for over a year. I have a special relationship with every animal that comes through the door. Like people, they all have their own unique personality. My coworkers and myself are very well trained to look after pets of every kind, not just dogs. They get lots of playtime, warm cozy beds, and interaction with other pets and people. We follow the owner’s instructions to the letter. We all care about the pets and their well being. We are also trained to look out for anything unusual to report to the doctors. And, God forbid anything should happen to your pet, they are already in a veterinary clinic so they can get immediate care from a doctor. Depending on where you go, a kennel could cost a little more but I would say it is well worth it. I have four cats and one dog, and I have left all of them at the clinic where I work on several occasions. Not having any children, my pets are like children to me and I feel one hundred percent confident that they will receive the best care while I am gone. I plan to keep working in a kennel as long as possible. It is very hard work, and the pay isn’t the best, but I do it for the animals. I love all of them, and I know I was drawn to this profession for a reason. We get very attached to your pet and take care of them as if they were our own. So if you need somewhere to leave your pet, I suggest a kennel. You are always welcome to take tours of the facilities, and check on your pet at any time. It is a great place for your pet to stay while you are away.
